When the folks at Stewart Golf set out to make a remote control golf cart, or "trolley" as they are known as in the U.K., there was one simple goal in mind. Make the best remote controlled golf trolley possible... period. No corners would be cut, and no expenses spared to design the world's finest motorized golf cart. The first result of this philosophy was the X3, which debuted in 2002 in the U.K. to rave reviews and a closet full of accolades and awards.

Now, Stewart introduces their second generation X5 to the exploding U.S. market. Though the X3 was close to perfect, they still found a few ways to improve it. The wheels have been upgraded to a titanium alloy, which are more durable, and sporty. The drive train was improved for even smoother operation, and the software was updated for even more robust response and performance from its N.A.S.A. derived remote guidance system.

Like the X3, the X5 was designed from the ground up to be a remote controlled cart. Most others are simply motorized carts retrofitted with servos and RC car remote hardware. This means that the X5 is more stable that other remote carts, and can handle more varied terrain without tipping. With most other power carts, the weight of the golf bag is a problem to try and balance. But the design X5 actually uses a golf bags weight distribution to improve its balance and stability! Therefore, the X5 has no need for extra-large protruding appendages attached to keep it from falling over when starting or climbing a steep hill. That translates into not only much better looks, but lighter weight. The X5 weighs only 32 pounds with battery!
